Lots of circles - crazy dogs

Good Morning all and welcome to a new week.

Today is a new challenge starting at Make My Monday

The theme this fortnight is

'GOING AROUND IN CIRCLES'

Make a project using at least 3 circles.  You could go quite simple or all out with lots of circles.  I decided to go circle mad with circle toppers, circle inking and a spotty embossing folder.

Make an XL DL card by folding black A4 cardstock in half lengthways.

I first stamped the crazy dogs and then die cut into a circle.  I then masked the dogs with drawing gum, using a dotty stencil i applied ink through some of the circles and then stamped in the same ink with a dictionary stamp.  I removed the stencil and drawing gum and watercoloured the dogs with distress inks.

I then inked around the edge and mounted onto black circles.  Die cut a round birthday sentiment in white and matted onto a black circle.  I then used a large spots embossing folder on a white panel for the background and used the same blue ink on the edges.

I stamped and coloured some of the tennis balls from the stamp set, covered in glossy accents and used them in the corners to embellish.  A few extra balls and bones to finish.

Close up detail of the dog and inked and stamped background behind him.  I also added glossy accents to the eyes and nose.

Items used
Tim Holtz Mini Crazy dog stamps
Distress inks - tumbled glass, peacock feathers, ripe persimmon, picked raspberry, smoked chicory, black soot.
Stampin up - dictionary stamp
That special touch - spot/circle mask
Crafters companion 8x8 spotty embossing folder
Circle Happy Birthday die.

I started seeing dots before my eyes with this one, but enjoyed getting inky.  Please do pop over to see the rest of the teams projects and to join in

I hope you all have a good week. Emma
