Funky Flowers

Good Morning everyone.

Today im sharing a little DL card, a friends challenge was to use red, yellow & sky blue on a floral card, wanting to try out my new paperartsy stamps this was the outcome, a nice bright cheerful card.

DL white card (approx 8x4")  I stamped the flowers direct onto the card front and doodled in some ground for them with a black fine line.  I stamped the flowers again onto white card and coloured them in simply with oxide inks and cut out the flower heads.  On the base card i splashed on some of the same inks to add interest to the background.  I coloured the leaves with green distress inks and the ground too.  I mounted the flower heads with foam tape to add dimension.
Stamped sentiment to finish.  I went with Dream as i love nothing better than taking 10mins out of the day to sit in the garden and day dream, just listening to the life of the garden - a kind of meditation i guess.  I love listening to the garden birds but in my case its the screech of the Cornish Seagulls here😁

Just a little close up on my flowers, i added touches of glitter glue.

Items Used:
Paperartsy Zinskiart stamps 'ZA38'
Crafters companion sentiment stamp
Oxide inks - candied apple, lemonade, tumbled glass, salty ocean
Diskress inks - pistachio, twisted citron
Diamond stickles
CraftUk ltd white smooth 300gsm card

Thank you all for stopping by once again, i do hope you have a good week.  Ive had toothache all last week so of to the dentist today.....will be good to get off soft food and onto something with crunch!  Emmax
