Good Morning everyone
These little cards came about after i had lots of off cuts of ivory gold pearl cardstock from my last set of cards that was too good to waste. So i first die cut them into small rectangles and then embossed them.
Card size approx:5.5x3" These were perfect for using up left over kraft card from previous cards too, the the kraft card is nice and soft to go with the ivory gold pearl. After dry embossing the panels i lightly inked over the top with distress ink 'evergreen bough & lucky clover' to help the embossing stand out. I then added the panels to the base card.
I die cut a mistletoe branch from off cuts of kraft card, the ivory gold & green satin. I adhered them in a little bunch and added a die cut bow. Sentiment stamped onto another scrap of kraft card with sepia ink and die cut into an oval. Crystal stickles glitter glue added to the berries, bow & sentiment to finish.
3 little cards. They might be small but i love them. Using left overs and snippets makes us get creative and come up with something different.
and version 2, these were slightly larger die cut rectangles
card size approx:3.5x5.5" Kraft card base. I embossed these rectangles with a lovely tree embossing folder and again lightly inked over the top with evergreen bough distress ink. I die cut a pine branch from left over ivory pearl, kraft card & green satin card and layered them up. I stamped some little baubles onto more kraft card with sepia ink and cut them out.
I attached thread to the back of the baubles and adhered them into place with glue gel, I then glued the thread to the branches - hopefully it stays stuck through the post - if i had thought about it beforehand i would have attached the thread to the back of the branches. To finish i added glossy accents to the baubles for a lovely shiny glass effect.
3 together.
These just show the offcuts and then how id die cut them into small stitched rectangles, embossed & inked.
