Tartan Christmas cards

Good Morning everyone

Today is a batch of Christmas cards. I was given this lovely papercuts die for my birthday & thought it would be ideal with this tartan cardstock for many years.

Card sise 6x5" I made my cardbase from the tartan cardstock.  Then die cut the bauble die cut from both white card and gold mirror card, i offset them so that the gold just gives a drop shadow and then attached to the top of the cardfront.  I Also added a strip of the gold mirror card to the top edge and a stripe of the tartan towards the top of the white panel.

I die cut the sentiment from the white card and gold mirror, off set and adhered to the card front.  Stickles diamond glitter glue added to the baubles for extra Christmas sparkle.

Version 2 using the 2nd tartan in the pack, there were 5 sheets of both the red & green so i made 10 cards like this.  Nice and simple, the papercuts die is ideal for quick but effect cards - this die cuts nicely through 300gsm in one pass too so no faffing about😀.

Items Used:
Creative Expressions papercuts die 'bauble garland edger'
Joyscrafts seniment die
Tartan cardstock (very old, supplier no longer trading)
CraftsUK ltd white linen cardstock
Gold mirror cardstock
Ranger stickles 'diamond'
