WLS Jan #2 - Carrot fever

Good Morning all

Time for the mid way post for We Love Stamping where the theme for January is

SOMETHING NEW
Just remember to include stamping

Ive gone with another new stamp set, when I saw it in the sale I knew it would be perfect for my dads birthday card in December, he is always battling the wildlife in his vegetable garden especially the pesky rabbits.  There are several different rabbit stamps in this set so i decided to use them all on one card and make a kind of story scene

DL card (4x8") I folded the front in half and back on itself.  This first image shows the front and part of the back

On all the panels i used printed paper to build a field scene with a blue purple paper for the sky and a greeny one for the grass, this green one i tore the top edge and inked to give a bumpy grass like texture and layered them up.

I stamped the rabbits onto white, added a little colour with alcohol markers and cut out....of course the wild rabbits aren't white but i kept mine white to stand out against the background and save on colouring in! I stamped lots of carrots from both this set of stamps but also some smaller ones i had from an aall&create set

On the front left panel I added the one running rabbit

The back panel, I added the rabbit pulling his carrots out, adding lots of extra carrots flying through the air as he is working that fastπŸ˜‚ πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•πŸ₯•

Then to the right the rabbit catching them & hugging the precious perfect carrot

On the hidden panel which you see on opening the card up I added the 2 smaller rabbits, one with his head in the ground looking for where the carrots are and one having a little snooze after eating the carrots when he should be on look out duty!

I computer printed my sentiment/quotes to match my little story, cut them out, inked the edges with a black pen and adhered into place.

Glossy accents added to the eyes and 2 orange enamel dots to the corners to finish.

Four legged friends - WLS May

Good Morning everyone

Time for a new challenge over at We Love Stamping
where the theme this month is

'Four legged friends'

So plenty of options here but we also always have the anything goes as long as you use stamping

My youngest brother had a rabbit as a child which was suppose to be dwarf..was bigger than the cats, he would often escape his run and go for a day out in the field....he had a lovely character

Card size approx 7x7" Die cut using spellbinders grand labels 1 die sets.

I decided to use this fab bunny stamp from aall&create and stamped him with versafine Clair ink 'warm breeze' which is this lovely turquoise colour onto cream cardstock.  I watercoloured the flowers and leaves with distress inks.  I die cut into shape and matted onto a fancy layer die cut from pearlised turquoise card and added flat to the card front.

I stamped just the main flower a 2nd time, watercoloured, cut out and decoupages onto the main image with glue gel for a little dimension and interest.

Orange glitter gems added to finish with a bit of bling.

Showing it side on and the decoupaged flower

and a 2nd version, this time I did pink flowers and gems.

Hippedy Hop

Good Morning everyone

Today Im sharing a fun diamond fold card.  I had these rabbits left over from making my 80th farmer card....I also had a left over diamond folded card on my desk so decided to combine the two.

Size when closed 4x4", the middle diamond is approx 2.75"

I covered the middle and outside panels with a greeny blue wash effect paper and the small triangle side panels with a blue foliage paper, all from the scrap box.  The rabbits were stamped onto white card, watercoloured with inktense pencils and cut out.  I adhered 2 to the outside panels flat and the one on the diamond with glue gel for dimension.

I stamped the greetings, cut out and adhered.

The sentiment is on straight, think must have photographed at a slight angle as it looks wonky! lol

A simple but fun card.

Showing it open, I used pink dotty paper on the bigger triangle panels to pick up on the pink of the rabbits.

Showing it stood up from above

and the back, I used the same papers, the greeny one is pale enough to write my greetings on

Items Used:
Katzelkraft stamp set 'farm animals'
Creative expressions stamp set 'UMSDB179' - No bunny like you
Various patterned papers
Smooth white card
Derwent inktense pencils

Thank you all for stopping by.  I hope you all have a good week - looks like its going to be a hot one in the UK so I shall probably be hibernating and good excuse to craft - As I have to avoid the sun as much as possible I shall go out early morning and then in the evenings.  Hugs to you all. Hoppy Easter

Good Morning everyone

Another little batch of easter cards today, using these fabulous bunny stamps from aall&create

Approx card size 6"    I first made my cardblank for yellow cardstock and my hexagon dies.  I stencilled over it with fossilised amber & spiced marmalade oxide inks to soften the bright yellow.  I die cut a smaller hexagon from white linen cardstock and die cut the floral circle into it.  I then lightly stencilled on foliage with lucky clover and evergreen distress inks, keeping it subtle, i attached this panel flat to the card front and stamped the sentiment.

I then stamped the rabbits onto white card, added little touches of colour with my fine liner pens - leaving the rabbits fur completely white.  I then cut them out and attached with glue gel for a little dimension.  Dots of stickles glitter glue added to the flower centres for a little sparkle.

Version 2 - just different colours on the bunnies

and little batch of bunnies🐰  The last 2 weeks we've seen more rabbits about in the fields which is a lovely sight

Items Used:
aall&create stamps 'hippety hoppity' #678
XL Hexagon dies
Floral circle die
Stencils
Distress & oxide inks
Staedtler fine liner coloured pens
Ranger Stickles 'crystal'

Thank you all for stopping by.  I hope you have a good week. Hugs Emmax
