A Cluster of Diamonds

Good Morning all

Today i am showing a batch of Diamond fold cards, these kept me quiet for a long while!  All using the Tattered Lace Diamond Fold die set.  Very photo heavy so you might like to sit down with a nice cuppa and your fav biscuit😊😊

I used the die to cut twice into the card, like i did for my dad card, this works quite well.  Then folded and scored it all into shape, a bit fiddly but it doesn't eventually come together. I rounded the corners on this one.  Spellbinders butterflies and gems to finish.  One sheet of 6x6 paper is the ideal size for these cards.

Papers are MME 'Miss Caroline - Dilly Dally'

and showing the back and where i put the sentiment using matching papers.

No2  Spellbinders butterflies cut in co-ordinating papers, pearls and glitter glue to finish

Papers are - Teresa Collins 'fabrications'

again showing the back and the sentiment.

and below a selection of single diamond folds, they are quite small but i love them and enjoyed using all my designer papers.

I made a set of 4, all slightly different.

Make My Monday #41

Good Morning all, welcome to another week.

So today we have a new challenge over at Make My Monday

The theme is colours of the rainbow,
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet
Use at least 3 of these colours

So if you fancy joining in or seeing the rest of the design teams creations please do pop over, you can either click the link above or on the side of my blog.

I choose to use green, orange and violet

First i stamped my sun in orange and then the sentiment over the top in black onto white linen card.  Once dry i arranged the die cut foliage in a kind of wreath.  Lots of little orange flowers with lilac gem centres.  I lightly edged the panel with orange ink and adhered to my base card.
Card size 6 x 5.5"

Close up detail.

Items used:  Stampin up 'kinda electic' ,
distress ink 'ripe persimmon'
sizzix susans garden 'forsythia' flower,
foliage die unknown

Thank you for popping by and i hope my card inspires you.

Wishing you all a wonderful week. Emma
