Shell shaped card

Good Morning all

A while ago a friend sent me some large shell die cuts and a couple of shaped card bases which i knew would be ideal with the Pink Ink 'shell nymph' stamp

The base shape is die cut from a lovely cream pearl cardstock, onto that i matted the gold solid layer and then the fancy top layer which was also die cut from cream pearl card - sorry i don't know what brand the dies are my friend used.

I stamped the image, watercoloured with derwent inktense pencils and cut her out, i gave her body a bit of shape and attached her to the card front with pinflair glue gel.  I added a stamped seahorse, starfish & shell plus 3 real shells.  Clearly besotted stamped sentiment, Glitter glue & glossy accent hightlights to finish.

Showing it stood up side on

Just a little close up, i picked 3 little shells from my collection.

Items Used
Pink Ink stamps 'shell nymph'
Clearly besotted sentiment stamp
Starfish & seahorse stamps (old craftstamper mag freebies)
Derwent Inktense pencils
Ranger glossy accents
Ranger stickles 'crystal & frosted lace'

Hello Fungi

Good Morning everyone

I got this fab fungi stamp in the black friday sales and this is his first outing, Ive teamed him up with kraft card to make a happy mail card.

5x5" kraft card base.  I stamped the fungi twice, once onto the base card and a 2nd time onto more kraft card.  On the base card i stencilled a leafy burst with oxide inks fossilized amber, crackling campfire & candied apple.  I added some cosmic shimmer glaze through a mushroom stencil - i was trying this new me product out but it added a different finish to the card for interest.

On the 2nd stamped fungi I watercoloured with inktense pencils, cut out & decoupaged onto the base image.  I added some white highlight with a posca pen.  Stamped the sentiment and added 3 extra toadstools to the finish.

Items Used:
Pink Ink stamp 'oyster frills'
Technique tuesday sentiment stamp 'hi there'
Altenew stencil
Derwent inktense pencils
Oxide inks
Kraft card
Cosmic shimmer glossy glaze 'daydream yellow'

Thank you for popping by once again.  No sign of snow here but if you do have snow then keep warm.  Hugs Emmax

This little piggy

Good Morning everyone.

A twist n pop card today using fab pig stamps from aall&create.  Ive teamed them up with a very old kaisercraft paper pad.  You can see previous twist n pop cards ive made here

This is the front of the card, very simple, matted and layered some of the papers from the paper pad with white and brown cardstock.

And inside.  I used a green paper from a 12x12 paper pad that toned in perfectly with the kaisercraft paper pad and looked like grass.  Again all matted onto brown cardstock. I tore stripes of the green paper for the pop out panels to give more of a grass feel.

I stamped the pigs onto white card and coloured with watercolour pens, i used a fineliner pen to add a little dress to the one of the left so she matches the one that already had an outfit. I then cut them out and added to the panels.  Stamped and added some of the words that are in the set to finish.

Because i dislike colouring greatly, i had stamped 2 sets of pigs and coloured at the same time so using the left over papers i made a DL card also.

White DL base card.  I added a panel of the green grass paper and then tore the pink clover paper and added what was a very small strip of the lilac paper behind, again with a torn edge to give a more natural feel.  Then arranged my piggies and a katzelkraft stamped sentiment to finish.

Items Used:
Aall&create stamps 'bacon'
Katzelkraft word stamps
Birthday circle die
Kaisercraft paper pad 'botanica'
The works paper pad
A3 craftUK ltd white card
Chocolate brown cardstock
Watercolour markers

Thank you all for stopping by once again.  I hope you all have a good end to the week and weekend. Hugs Emmaxx

Id love to enter the following with my pop n twist card:

Red Poppies

Good Morning everyone.

When looking through my large dies i found these spellbinders grand labels4 that ive hardly used and knowing how much they cost all those years ago im now on a mission to get some use out of them...hopefully you won't get sick of seeing them😁

For these 2 little cards, i die cut the labels 4 and folded in half.  1 is die cut from card coloured with brushos and 1 is plain white using the brusho'd card for the mats. The poppies were die cut from scraps of white card and coloured with alcohol markers.  Stamped sentiment and mini butterflies i had on my desk to finish.

This poppy was smooth white card coloured with alcohol markers. I added a little glitter glue to the butterflies for a little sparkle.

It stands up well.  Think i will make a few more like this for a bit different shaped card

Are this poppy was cut from a scrap of pearl cardstock, i used the same pens to colour them both and it looks totally different.  The pearl still shines through when the light hits it.

Showing it stood up, i added a coloured paper insert to pick up on the colour of the poppies

Items Used:
Spellbinders Labels4, Grand labels 4 & fancy labels 4
Pennyblack poppy die
Brusho's
Alcohol markers
CraftUK hammered white cardstock

Thank you all for stopping by once again. Hugs Emmax

Colouring on kraft

Good Morning all

Today is 2 little cards.  I had strips of this printed kraft card left over and though they would be ideal to colour in, i used my inktense pencils to colour it and Im pleased with the outcome, i have several printed sheets in some paper pads i bought a few years ago in B&M so think i will colour in another one or two

6x5.5" kraft card blanks - i embossed the card blanks with a lovely swirly embossing folder to add a little interest.  I coloured the kraft panel with inktense pencil, adding grey alcohol marker to the background and leaving the kraft card plain for the highlights. I then attached it to the base card. Stamped greeting to finish.

Yep completely flat cards and some colouring in - both very unusual for me😁

Close up card 1

Close up card 2

Items Used:
B&M 12x12 Printed Kraft paper pad - Crafts you create 'Vintage Baroque'
Derwent Inktense pencils

Hello

Good Morning everyone.

Today im sharing a couple of little hello cards, all made with left overs and i loved them.
I had the images coloured and cut out from a previous project and the little frames too.

Approx size 5x3.5".  I first stamped my images and coloured with inktense pencils and cut them out. My little rabbit here as glitter on his tail.  My frame was cut from white linen card, i then folded white linen card and cut to size for my base card.  I splashed on dots of ink in the same colours as my image to add just a little interest to the background and soften all the white.
I added foam tape to the back of the scalloped frame and added to the middle of the cardbase.  I took the middle panel that comes out of the frame and coloured it with the same inks as the rabbit and slotted it back into the frame.  I then took a 2nd piece that comes out of the middle of the frames - (i have several left over from just using the frames on other projects)
And after deciding where i would place my rabbit i stamped the greeting, this is using 2 different stamps, one is the happy thoughts and the hello is from a different set - this panel i attached at a angle.
I then gently shaped my rabbit and attached with glue gel.  Little gems added to finish.

Version 2 with a little piggie - this time i didn't add a coloured panel.  After stamping the greeting i attached that panel back in the middle of the frame.  Glossy accents added to the eye and again little gems to finish.

Hopefully my little cards made the recipients smile a little as they did me while making them.

Items Used:
Katzelkraft farm animal stamps
Stitched scallop frame die
Simon Says stamps - circle sayings
Hello sentiment stamp - magazine freebie
Derwent Inktense pencils
CraftUk ltd white linen card.

Thank you all for stopping by once again and hello to those reading this at home - all my email followers👋😸  I hope you are all doing ok.  Stay safe.  Hugs Emmax
