Trio of Christmas dogs

Good Morning everyone

A set of cards i made with the Katzelkraft dog stamp again.  Ive made a DL fold back card

White DL card (approx 4x8")  I folded the front in half back on itself. I stamped the sentiment and then dry embossed the whole card with a snowflake embossing folder - i changed the usual embossing sandwich so that it was a less deep emboss and therefore didn't rip through when embossing the whole card in one go.  I then splashed on blue wink of stella pens for more falling snow which twinkles when the light hits it.
I then stamped my dogs, coloured with inktense pencils and cut them all out....that took quite a whileπŸ˜€  I then arranged them, the middle one over laps the fold of the card.  I doodled in some ground for them to be standing on.  To finish i added glossy accents on their bells and noses and frosted lace glitter to their hats.

Showing how it stands up.  Ive made 20 of these. As the dogs overhang each end i also made envelopes to fit them.

Items Used:
Katzelkraft christmas dog stamp 'SOLO145'
LOTV Chrismtas sentiment stamps
Tattered lace snowflake A4 embossing folder
Derwent inktense pencils
Ranger glossy accents & stickles 'frosted lace'
Grey alcohol marker
CraftUK A3 cardstock

Thank you all for stopping by and all your amazing comments.  I hope that you are having a good week  - another wet day here.  Ironically now im out of shielding we are packed with tourists so i would have been safer going out last month than this month so not venturing far during August but hopefully i might get to see my nieces at some point. Stay safe everyone. Emmax

  1. Gorgeous creation, I don't see that many dachshunds out and about maybe they're not so popular these days ... love your dressed up trio, what a task to stamp, colour & cut out all 60 and make envelopes too! Now you're well on the way with your festive makes ... Steph x
