Good Morning everyone
Today is a set of cards using a beautiful Joy die from spellbinders, i picked up on the Christmas hymn with adding 'to the world' I made these back in the summer when little did we know what would happen so i do hope we can all find a little Joy this festive season,
A6 (4x6") White base card. Ive used various papers from my stash and mixed them up with gold glitter card and turquoise pearlised card. I cut paper to fit my card front and die cut the joy die from the middle, i then matted this panel onto cardstock and added to the base card. For the floral one i took a gold glitter joy and inset the floral letters that drop out, i used the floral outside on the green version. I attached them over the aperture left. Computer printed 'to the world' words onto white and attached.
I die cut little flowers and foliage using the extra dies that come in the set and arranged, enamel drops added to the flower centres. On the green version i also added a sentiment stamp to the bottom. All corners were rounded as i went.
A close up, you can see the blue pearl peeks through the joy, by cutting the joy word from the middle of my paper panel instead of just adding on top means i could match up the floral letters to the paper pattern, makes the paper go further and also allowed the contrast colour from my mat layer to peek through.
Different papers., i didn't round the corners on the left one as it didn't go with the lines on the background.
Blue and silver versions, i mixed up blue papers with silver mirror card and silver glitter card - really blingtastic which sadly the photos don't really show.
Items Used:
Spellbinders Christmas joy die set
MME paper pad - 'all is bright'
Pink Paislee paper pad - 'together for christmas'
Poundland paper pad - 'pure frozen'
Seniment stamp
Viva pearl & enamel drops
Thank you all for stopping by once again and waving hello to all my email followers, i hope you can all find a little joy this month.
