Into the forest

Good Morning everyone

Today is another Autumnal card.  Stencilling with oxide inks onto kraft card and i love the effect.

A5 kraft card blank.  I then cut a piece of kraft card slightly smaller than the front and stencilled all over it with oxide inks - patina, campfire & amber and a lavinia stencil.  I then die cut an oval from the middle.  The outside frame i added to the base card with foam tape.  I stamped the sentiment, crow & rabbits onto the oval and then added back into the frame but without the foam tape.

I had some leaves left from another project and die cut some more from kraft card inked with the same oxide inks, gave them some shape and arranged around the frame.

On stamping the crow some black ink went where i didn't want it so i hide it behind some leaves😀

Just a close up.  The oxide inks do show through the black silhouette stamping but i don't mind that effect, using my stamp press i over stamped with the black to get it nice and dark.

Items Used:
Inkylicious verse stamp 'peaceful forest'
Lavinia stamps 'wild hares' 'whimsical hares' 'crows'
Lavinia stencil 'pods'
Tim Holtz distress oxide inks: Salvaged patina, crackling campfire, fossilised amber
Spellbinders little leaf dies
XL oval dies
Kraft card

Thank you all for stopping by once again. Ive had fun in hedgehog land lately, last week my old cat found a poorly hedgehog that went to the vets and onto rehabilitation and then this week i came across this little baby in the garden looking for breakfast and the bowl was empty so i went for a top up....he happily had his snack, drink and toddled off back to bed😁 He is about the size of the food bowl which is just over 3" Ive seen it most days/nights since so he/she is doing ok and putting on weight nicely

and heres another 3 of them, I don't think the feeding station is big enough as they are queuing!

I hope you all have a good week.   Hugs Emmax

  15. Magnificently pretty fall card. The colour palette is a total winner and I just love the dimensional element to the leaves. It ups the sense of realism to them all the more. Another hardcore fave here for me, sweet lady.
