Kitty-Bea is 4

Good Morning everyone

My niece Kitty-Bea was 4 last week.  These are the 2 cards ive made for her.

6x6" Lever fold card.  A sheet of paper in a pad from B&M had all these colourful fish which i wanted to use as she loves her wildlife and living on the coast all things sea themed.  I made up my lever fold card and used a blue wave pattern paper on the front and got arranging the fish i had cut out.

This shows a different fish themed paper i used on the inside.

Using offcuts of acetate i added 3 of the bigger fish to the top so they look like they are swimming along.  I added a few touches of glitter glue too as what little girl doesn't like glitter.

and onto card 2 which i made before Christmas when i was playing with the tonic rabbit die set.  I used Kitty-Beas 2 favourite colours of Yellow & Blue.  Funnily when i uploaded my first ones using this die set here  Steph mentioned she'd wondered if you could have them joining up which i had also wondered when i was using the dies....great minds think alike😁

Showing the front of my rabbit chain.  I die cut the front and back from blue 350gsm cardstock.  Using a lemon yellow heavyweight paper i folded it into 4 and using the smaller rabbit layer die i ran it through the machine, ensuring that where the tips of the arms/hands are were just overhanging the folds and therefore didn't cut.  This gave me a concertina of rabbits.

Using paper scraps i die cut her outfits.  Computer printed the sentiment and die cut with the sentiment tag die in the set.

The back of the card, or front😁

and inside is my concertina of rabbits, i did 4 as its a 4th birthday, each with a different outfit...ideal for using up paper scraps

This shows the back plainer side to write the greeting and also showing that they do stand up to display.  I did actually reinforce the join of the arms with little tiny strips of the yellow paper.

Items Used:
Tonic studio rabbit die set 3638e
Old Paper pads from the works & B&M

We've been without internet most of the week after the storms, all fixed now hopefully.  I hope its a good week for you all. Emmax

Id love to enter the fish card in the following:

  11. Such creative, deeply charming cards, dear Emma. I am more than a wee bit wild about how you used acetate pieces to help those darling fishies hover above the rest of their brethren below. Awesome idea!
