Make My Monday #52 pink & grey

Good Morning all and welcome to a new week, i hope you enjoyed the weekend.

So today is the start of a new challenge over at Make My Monday

the theme this time is

PINK & GREY

I decided this would be the ideal time to use some double sided pink and grey papers i have.  I found this idea on pinterest for taking circles and folding them to make a square.  Turned out not quite as easy as it looked trying to get the folds square (so don't look too close😏).

First die circles from the double sided papers and score on 4 sides and fold upwards, these i arranged in a square onto a square of charcoal paper.  White A5 cardblank, matted with white hammered card and charcoal grey paper.  I added pink buttons threaded with thread where the squares joined.

Stamped greeting die cut into an oval and layered on a strip of pink paper.

A close up of the square circles or round squares

Sorry the photos are a bit dark, we haven't seen much sunshine lately down here.

Items used:
Papers - Crafts you create (B&M) - 'Bold & Beautiful'
Stampin up - wetlands stamp set
Spellbinders Circle & Oval nestabilities

So please do pop over to join in and see what the rest of the team has come up with Make My Monday

Thank you for stopping by as always and i hope you all have a good week whatever you have planned.  Emma

Pretty creation Emma, I tried these folded circles last year and yes they are tricky to get right but well worth the effort ... Steph x

What an unusual creation, Emma...but it certainly allows you to display those lovely two-sided papers! A super card... and I know what you mean about trying ideas that look simple, but turn out to be not quite so simple. Ha! ha!
