Christmas Poinsettias

Good Morning everyone, i hope you are having a good week.

When i used this floral die a while back i thought they looked a bit like poinsettia shape so here it is as a Christmas card, teamed up with green pearl card, gold mirror card and my own red mirror card coloured with red alcohol inks so its full of shimmer.

Cardsize approx 5.5x4.5  I first coloured a piece of gold mirror card with red alcohol inks and let dry.  I then die cut the floral frame once from white card, gold card and the red card, i attached the red & white frames to green pearl card and the green frame to white card and then got inserting all the flower/foliage pieces back into different frames.  I then matted and layered onto the base cards.

Die cut sentiment attached to a die cut circular frame, a little die cut poinsettia added to the centre of the sentiment to finish.

Close up - i also added some glitter glue to the poinsettia centres - so plenty of bling

I used this one portrait over the last 2 being landscape - this die is great as you can use it any way up.
I love how you get more interest and mottled effect using the alcohol inks on mirror card, here i used gold mirror card as the base as its interesting the difference you get using the same alcohol inks on silver or gold mirror base.

Items Used:
Pinkfresh ornate floral frame die
MFT circle sentiment die
Circle dies
Mini poinsettia/flower die
Tim Holtz alcohol inks - red pepper, cranberry & lemon
Gold mirror card
Payper box Green pearl card
CraftUK ltd white card

Thank you all for stopping by once again.  I hope you are hanging in there.  Hugs Emmaxx
