Christmas Candles

Good Morning everyone

This card came about as i had vellum poinsettias and silver foliage left over from the cards i uploaded last Monday, i also had some textured cream offcuts from the cat cards i made which were just the right size to die cut into candles, so this card is completely made of leftovers😀

A5 textured cream card blank.  I cut a piece of woodgrain paper to fit and inked the edged with walnut & black soot distress inks.  I die cut 3 candles and the extra dripping candle wax pieces, i used alcohol markers to ink up the flames in yellow & orange and added glitter glue over the top.  I gentle curved them and added to the base card with glue gel.  I then got arranging the silver foliage and 3 vellum poinsettia.  I added yellowy gems to the poinsettia centers to pick up on the yellow of the candle and a touch of glitter too.
Stamped sentiment die cut into a circle to finish.

Just a close up.  I cut the bottom of 2 of the candles to that i could add them at different heights.

Items Used:
Tim Holtz bigz die - tattered poinsettia
Various foliage dies
Candle die
Sentiment stamp
Woodgrain paper - woodland Christmas pad from the works
White vellum
Silver mirror card
Textured cream card
Ranger diamond glitter glue

Thank you all for popping by.  I hope you all have a good week. Hugs Emmaxxx

  10. Instantly attention-getting, splendidly lovely wintertime greeting. The more candles (be they the real deal or rendered in paper craft form) the merrier, as the days grow colder and darker once again.
